Pugh Prairie Gardens is open May through November, every Saturday and Sunday, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Located just off historic Route 66 in western Canadian County, we’re a short drive from Oklahoma City and a world away from the ordinary.
Whether you’re coming solo for a quiet morning walk, bringing the kids out for a real nature adventure, or planning an educational outing, there’s something genuinely worth seeing at every turn.
What to Expect
From the moment you arrive, you’ll step into a landscape that’s been carefully and lovingly shaped over two decades. Winding paths carry you through vibrant native wildflower beds, restored prairie grasslands, and woodland trails through cross-timber groves. Keep your eyes open, this is a certified Wildlife Habitat and Monarch Waystation, so the wildlife here is very much at home.
