Get Your Hands Dirty for a Great Cause
Pugh Prairie Gardens is a 501(c3) non-profit doing real, hands-on conservation work across 45 acres of Oklahoma prairie and cross-timber woodland. Every hour our volunteers give goes directly toward restoring native landscapes, maintaining trails, and protecting the habitats that pollinators, wildlife, and future generations depend on.
This isn’t just weeding. This is prairie restoration. This is planting native trees along historic Route 66. This is helping build something that will outlast all of us.
What Volunteers Do
There’s no shortage of meaningful work at Pugh Prairie Gardens, and we match volunteers with tasks that suit their interests and abilities. Opportunities include:

Who We’re Looking For
You just need a genuine interest in Oklahoma’s natural environment and a willingness to show up and pitch in. We welcome individuals, families, student groups, corporate volunteer teams, and environmental organizations.
